Cyberman (Blood of the Cybermen): Difference between revisions

* The Cybermen of ''Blood'' were not stated to be either [[Cyberman|Mondasian]] or the [[Cyberman (Pete's World)|Cybus]] kind; they ''resemble'' the Cybus kind but without the Cybus logo. The Cybermen of ''Good Man'' were stated by [[Peter Hoar]] to be "different Cybermen" to the Cybus race, because they lacked the logo <ref>[http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/dw/videos/p00hghnb Key Scene Commentary 2]</ref> - it is assumed for the purposes of the wiki that both stories have the same Cybermen (though ''Blood'' have their own variant logo).

 

* The Cybermen in these stories may be intended to be the Mondasians: they possess similar legions in the future (''Good Man''), ''Blood'' has them using Cyber-Mats and said to have conquered "races", and a "Who Fact" on Cybermen in the game refers solely to the Mondasian Cybermen (another on Cyber-Biology refers to "the Cybermen created by [[John Lumic]]" as if they're a different group).

** Cybermen resembling the Cybus kind but having Mondasian attributes also appear in

 

* Their [[ Electro Attack|&nbsp;Electro Attack]] is a ranged weapon, resembling the attack seen in [[The Moonbase|''The Moonbase'']] and ''[[The Tomb of the Cybermen]]''.

 

* It is unknown how the Doctor acquired the chest plate seen in [[TARDIS (The Adventure Games)|''TARDIS'']]. As the short script ''[[Wish You Were Here (The Adventure Games)|Wish You Were Here]]'' occurs directly after ''[[Blood of the Cybermen]]'' and leads directly into ''TARDIS'' (where the chest plate is seen), there is no time for the Doctor to take a chest plate and he is not seen carrying out out of the GSO base at the end of ''Blood''. It is possible that he has encountered these Cybermen before in an unseen adventure.
