A green, glob-like species were native to the planet Metrolos. When the Eleventh Doctor encountered them in the 41st century they had an advanced society, with large cities and many cars. Their cars were driven by robots permanently connected to a computer-controlled network, which was itself connected to Travel Control through a hyperlink.
