Storyland
Storyland was a mysterious region inhabited by fictional characters of Earth lore, endlessly acting out their famous stories. The First Doctor had already visited it once when he accidentally landed there with John and Gillian while trying to get them home to 20th century England. (COMIC: Nostalgia Corner) In his second and seventh incarnations, the Doctor would later discover another, seemingly-unrelated metafictional land inhabited by fictional characters, the Land of Fiction. Among the inhabitants of Storyland were literary and storybook heroes William Tell, Robinson Crusoe and Sherlock Holmes. As evidenced by signs past which the Doctor and his grandchildren walked past during their visit to Storyland, the land was subdivided in various fictional lands such as Mordor, Lilliput and Trumpton.
