Streatham (The Hunting Season) was the Butler for Hawthorn. He was a traditionalist and as such didn't like Alice actions. He ruled with a firm hand and often chastised the other servants. The Ninth Doctor wanted to know what he wanted with the servants. He didn't like the fact that the Doctor didn't want to kill the intruders. (AUDIO: The Hunting Season)
