Sue Land
Sue Land was the BBC Wales VFX supervisor for series 6 through series 9 of Doctor Who.[1][2][3][4]
She took part in a 2014 meeting, with Brian Minchin and Nerys Davies, in which plans for the new Peter Capaldi title sequence were discussed with Billy Hanshaw.[5][6] Davies described having worked closely with Land, and her team in Cardiff, to ultimately create the titles based on Hanshaw's original concept.[6]
In October 2014, Land won a BAFTA Cymru award for her work on Doctor Who, alongside her studio, BBC Wales VFX.[7]
In April 2015, when Milk VFX opened a second studio in Cardiff Bay, Sue Land was appointed as manager of the new studio. She reports to CEO and executive producer Will Cohen.[8][3][9] She worked on series 9 from this studio.[9][3]
