Suresh Parekh

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Suresh Parekh was a waiter at a restaurant in Bombay, India. In 1816, he saw what he thought was a ghost. It was actually the First Doctor, who was drifting through time incorporeally after an attempt to fix his TARDIS failed. The "ghost" reappeared in the following decades, causing Suresh to age more slowly as a side effect.

Suresh rose up through the ranks in the restaurant, becoming manager. When the owner of the restaurant died, Suresh became the owner. He eventually sold the restaurant to a retired military couple, but stayed on in an active role. He was managing the restaurant by 1924 when Susan and the Doctor, finally restored to solidity, came in. (PROSE: Indian Summer)
