Suspended animation device

Intending to discover more about Professor Logan's activities but finding the complex heavily guarded, the Third Doctor created a suspended animation device.
It was made by using some parts from Bessie. It worked successfully on the outer guards but when the Doctor reached the quarantine chamber to use it on the astronauts, he was cornered with a gun by Logan, which he soon after destroyed the device with. The Doctor claimed the suspended animation only lasted "an hour or so" and that there were no after-effects. (COMIC: Doctor Who and the Rocks from Venus)
