Proposed rename[[edit source]]

I've noticed a template has been placed for a proposed rename to Graham and Grace's home. I would be against this. I find home quite an ambiguous term; "home" could be anything from a universe, to a planet, to a city, to a flat - see Category:Homes of the Doctor's companions as an example of this variation. House, on the other hand, roughly states the type of property, in a similar way to flat, mansion, cottage, farmhouse, castle etc. Home can be an appropriate term in cases where we perhaps don't know the type of property, such as is the case with Amy Pond and Rory Williams' home (Rory's Story), but in cases such as Graham and Grace's house, we should continue to use house to disambiguate from any further properties Graham and Grace might own. 66 Seconds 08:35, 4 July 2021 (UTC)

I can see it both way. But to me, "home" indicates that the house where the characters have lived together for a while is their sanctum, hence why I named Paul and Jeremy's home and Jo Jones' home by home - a "house" can be any sort of residential building, lacking the almost nuanced term "home", in my opinion.
Also, it is considerably unlikely there will ever be a story showing Grace and Graham owning another home, and if they do, just dab by story. 08:56, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
Does the dialogue / any prose etc have more references to Graham and team TARDIS referring to it as a "house" or a "home"? Which ever has more references to it can help us determine which is the correct mode of reference for their domicile. --Tangerineduel / talk 13:52, 1 April 2023 (UTC)
Although the matter of house/home is larger problem yet to be resolved outside of this specific case, various props that have gone up for sale on eBay have revealed that the full address of this location is 36 Mortimer Avenue S2 9BK. 01:05, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
