Talk:Andromeda (galaxy)
Type of astronomical object[[edit source]]
Really not sure it's right to call "Andromeda" a galaxy. The Doctor specifically calls it a "constellation" in The Mysterious Planet, and his reference to it in Timelash certainly doesn't sound like he's talking about a whole galaxy, since it's compared to the Eye of Orion. If it's specifically called a galaxy in other Doctor Who fiction, we might wish to consider turning Andromeda into a redirect page, changing this one to Andromeda (galaxy) and creating a new page for Andromeda (constellation). Rename[[edit source]]
This page should be named "Andromeda Galaxy" not "Andromeda (galaxy)" 99.6.9.145talk to me 21:20, August 27, 2016 (UTC)
- Removed the rename tag for now. The user who proposed the name (two years ago) never gave a reason. It can be re-added if someone can give a reason. Shambala108 ☎ 23:14, October 26, 2018 (UTC)
