Why merge?

I must admit I don't understand why this has been given a merge tag. We have in-universe pages for a whole bunch of other hyper-specific things, and the real world BBC One has its own page. What makes this different? WaltK ☎ 16:52, 18 October 2023 (UTC)

I thought they were the same channel but with different names throughout the 20th century. If they're not, then a big cleanup needs to happen as I've been using BBC television (in-universe) to contain the in-universe info about BBC One, instead of putting it on the real world page.

Oooooooooh I see now; I just assumed the BBC Television page was for the in-universe company as a whole, I forgot that's what BBC One was called back in the day. My mistake, disregard. WaltK ☎ 19:27, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
