does this mean that the web comic "Death comes to time" is no longer canon, how come the Minster of Chance is still canon though? so, how come it is not canon anymore? Sclera1 08:31, August 3, 2012 (UTC)

First of all, this wiki is no longer using the language "canon/not canon". As our canon policy makes clear, there is no such thing as a DW "canon", per se. We are, however, taking a harder look at a tiny, tiny percentage of stories that have been released under proper BBC license and determining whether either the BBC backed away from them after publication or they were made in such a way that the producers probably didn't intend them to be a part of the "normal" continuity. At the forums, we've had a thorough look at contemporaneous interviews with the writer and producer of DCTT, and have decided that it was a deliberate "one-off" in which there was a deliberate attempt to break previous continuity. Indeed, it seems to have been a kind of audition piece, and if the producers of DCTT had won the attempt to reboot the televised franchise — which they were at least mildly trying to do — they would have made a version of the programme that would have been different yet again from DCTT.
I'm not sure what you mean by "the Minister of Chance is still canon" though. I know I've personally deleted all references to that series, because the producers have clearly said it's not at all part of the DW franchise.
It may be that we've simply not got around to adding a {{notdwu}} tag to the page about the character of the Minister of Chance. The debate about DCTT is relatively fresh, so we've perhaps not enacted its conclusions just yet.

Oh, I see that someone, probably Tybort, has redacted the Minister of Chance entry to just its information from a valid source. The current form of that article is perfectly appropriate. Information about his turn in DCTT can (and probably should) be added to the article, but only in a "behind the scenes" section.
