Talk:Cyber Legion
Cyberman designs[[edit source]]
The Cybermen of the Cyber Legions have distinct designs (the Cybus-style design from A Good Man Goes to War, and the "Iron Man" Cybermen from Nightmare in Silver) but we've got no pages that include the history of these designs, despite their frequent appearances in TV episodes, prose, and comics. Given the lack of a specific term for either design, would it be acceptable to include the histories of these Cybermen designs on this page? We could have a main section featuring these Cybermen's appearances within the Cyber Legions, and then a sub-section dealing with these Cybermen's appearances outside of the Cyber Legions, such as in Dark Water / Death in Heaven, The Doctor Falls and Cyber-Reality.
Also, although this is referring to a different page, if this proposition is acceptable, could we add the history of the Cybus Cybermen to the Cybus Industries page? CyberFoundries900 ☎ 13:55, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
Weirdly, there seems to be little to no information on the NiS variant on this page AT ALL. This really needs to expanded to include those. At the moment it only focuses on the Cybus lookalikes but those "Iron Men" from NiS are still part of the same subspecies so yeah they really should be mentioned here. I guess we do already have Cyberiad which covers that information well enough but the problem is that page is more about the CyberNetwork as a force, rather than the Cybermen as a group. Although, then again, maybe that's for the best, since we don't have seperate pages for the Nestenes vs the Nestene Conciousness. So perhaps this is how it SHOULD be structured. Not actually sure either way. Either way though I agree with your point about the Cybusmen and have raised the topic on Talk:Human.2, which I think is a better candidate for (no pun intended) conversion into another Cyber subspecies page than Cybus Industries, which should remain about Lumic's actual COMPANY as a corporate entity.
