Talk:Czechoslovakia

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

First paragraph[[edit source]]

We sure about all those visits by the Doctor? Czechoslovakia didn't even exist for a century. Are all the sources listed as "times the Doctor visited there" actually visits to Czechoslovakia? Or are some of them to the Czech Republic? Or Bohemia? Or the Austro-Hungarian Empire? Don't mistake a visit to Prague for a visit to Czechoslovakia.

Oh. You're right. None of those visits were between 1918 and 1989 (actually 1993 in the real world) except for The Broken Man. You can delete that paragraph, although I think it would be good to at least note that Prague, but not Czechoslovakia, was visited frequently by the Doctor. --SOTO 03:04, May 28, 2013 (UTC)
Is it really necessary to mention all the Prague visits in this article? The Prague article already states that fact. I think it would be unnecessarily confusing to list the visits to Prague here when Prague is not the capital of Czechoslovakia. Shambala108 03:09, May 28, 2013 (UTC)
Well, I agree that visits to Prague should be detailed at Prague, but Prague was very definitely the capital of Czechoslovakia, even according to DWU sources. Well, okay, according to The Broken Man.
