Renaming to David Jenkins[[edit source]]
Even though he calls himself with the colloqial "Davie Jenkins", in most panels of the story where a first name is used, the proper form "David Jenkins" is used, even when the Third Doctor calls him by first name only, he uses "David", not "Davie" - as does the narrator.
