I feel like maybe there should be an explanation on either this page or the other explaining why Dot has two different pages.
Something like "Dot Cotton and Dot Branning are in fact the same character: the "Dot Cotton" page talks about the fictional in-universe version of the character and all references to her in the DWU; the "Dot Branning" page talks about the version of her who has appeared as an actual character within invalid DW media. The "fictional" Dot is most famously known by her first married name (Cotton), despite having since taken her later married name (Branning) within Eastenders own continuity". - I don't think this site should be concerning itself with which name she is most famous for outside of DWU. Surely all that is relevant to us is which name is most relevant to the DWU? Both of her appearances were made when the character was going by Branning. DrWHOCorrieFan ☎ 11:09, 25 April 2023 (UTC)
