Dot Branning and Dot Cotton[[edit source]]
Dot Branning and Dot Cotton are the same person. Dot Cotton is mentioned in the novel The Blood Cell specifically as 'Dot Cott-'. I suggest an admin merge them and address the issue within the article. We should also update any article that mentions the name Cotton rather than Branning, including EastEnders. - Just bringing this back up. Ideas on a page merge? :) TheFartyDoctor Talk 22:11, May 15, 2017 (UTC)
- The difference between the two pages is that this one is about the character from an out of universe perspective. It talks about all the instances where the actual character has appeared in the non-valid crossover stuff (Dimensions in Time, Sprout Boy, etc.) while the other one is entirely from an in-universe perspective, where she’s regarded as a “ficitonal” entity. - While I do agree with this rationale, this hasn't been how characters have been dealt with almost anywhere else. Cookieboy 2005 ☎ 15:49, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
