Talk:Dracula (fictional character)

Why the move?[[edit source]]

I'm still pretty new here, and still learning the all rules, so I'm a bit confused about why this article has suddenly been moved to "Count Dracula". I thought "Titles, such as military ranks or titles of nobility, should be omitted." (Tardis:Manual of style#Naming of articles). -- solar penguin/(talk)/(contribs) 00:19, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Thats a good point. It was probably because of Wikipedia's article on the character but that isn't an excuse. Also, the links to Dracula haven't been changed and it seems dumb to write [[Count Dracula|Dracula]] when someone is talking about Stoker's novel. Might I suggest both the character and the novel can be covered by this article.
Since the historical prince's name Vlad III is in-universe (Son of the Dragon), that other article should use his first name not simply his surname which in-universe is used by descendants of Vlad III (Bat Attack!) even past the historical extinction of the family. The link out to Wikipedia says Vlad Dracula and is then redirected to Wikipedia:Vlad III the Impaler.--Nyktimos 04:35, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
