I propose we rename this page to London Borough of Ealing with a conjecture notice, as the borough was shown in Revenge of the Slitheen. I also propose a rename of Category:Ealing to Category:London Borough of Ealing, and categories Category:Ealing locations and Category:Residents of Ealing to be renamed Category:London Borough of Ealing locations and Category:London Borough of Ealing residents respectively.
Ealing is used in the DWU (and in the real world) as a name for both the smaller town of Ealing and the wider borough of Ealing in which the town is located. It is therefore hard to ascertain whether items in Category:Ealing, Category:Ealing locations and Category:Residents of Ealing relate just to the town or to the borough. Horsenden Hill, Greenford and Perivale for example, currently in Category:Ealing locations, are in reality not located in the town of Ealing but in the London Borough of Ealing. Perivale itself is a town similar to Ealing. Renaming these categories would be the correct approach and help to futureprroof the wiki, as we know (even if some pages relate the town of Ealing) all pages relate to the Borough of Ealing. 66 Seconds ☎ 16:54, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- We have enough information in SJA to warrant the creation of two pages, one for Ealing and another for London Borough of Ealing. We already have a precedent for this with London Borough of Camden/Camden Town and London Borough of Southwark/Southwark.
