Talk:In Living Memory (audio story)

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

The Actors[[edit source]]

I haven't listened to this story but from the description it sounds like it makes reference to a number of the voice actors in it. Does that mean they should be placed in the category "Doctor Who actors that exist in the DWU"? Or does it break the fourth wall so thoroughly that they can't actually be said to be part of the DWU? And what about Nicholas Briggs's cameo as himself in Legend of the Cybermen? Should that count as well? Slughorn42 17:21, September 8, 2014 (UTC)

I've listened to this story twice, what happens is the Epoch rewrites Benny's, Peter's, Jack's, Ruth's and Irving's timelines and memories to make them think that they are actors who are playing them out of universe, they still are Benny etc but are brainwashed. There are a few references to the actual actors careers, Miles at the RSC, Ames appearing on Holby City, as well as Toby's lunches also Scott and Gary are there as the Epoch's observers making sure the conditioning holds, the conditioning doesn't fully take hold especially when Benny, the Victorian one from Judgement day, appears the conditioning fails and they all assume their normal persona.
