Okay, so a new trailer has just dropped, and it is pretty clear that this "man" is the Toymaker. Is a merge now in order?

As the characters have been confirmed to be the same, I agree with a merge; if it says this is a "new incarnation" or whatever, they can always be resplit. Cookieboy 2005 ☎ 20:56, 23 September 2023 (UTC)

To clarify the above: while this "man" appeared in a valid source, and the Toymaker has appeared in valid sources, only spoilery promotional material has connected the two. When we connect two characters because a released nonvalid source says so, that's one thing. When we connect two characters based on promotional material for an unreleased to-be-valid source, that's another thing entirely. – n8 (☎) 16:59, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
