I haven't read The Gallifrey Chronicles and got pretty much all the information in this article from other websites. Can anyone who has actually read the book confirm it?--The Traveller 10:46, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

What you've got so far isn't wrong, per se, it's just massively incomplete. I don't think you've captured the real scope of the character. I mean this is a guy with the power to look into the future and see that there are three Ninth Doctors. And he's a guy who sits at the intersection of the Doctor Who and Faction Paradise universes. Finally, he basically foretells the Last Great Time War. He's in many ways a bigger and more impressive Time Lord than the Doctor, and we've only got a few paragraphs. Master Relation

I've read the book and, while not completely understanding it, I'm fairly sure it is not even hinted at as to a connection between Marnal and the Master. Can anyone clear this up? Cannon881 16:13, April 26, 2010 (UTC)

The only connection was that Marnal said that his biological son visited him in the 1970s and people link that to the UNIT years Master being around in the 70s. --Revan\Talk 16:24, April 1, 2011 (UTC)

"People" in this case including Parkin himself, who places the visit during the UNIT Era (which he keeps separate from the regular seventies) in Ahistory, and pointedly doesn't explain why. 86.128.78.36^{talk to me} 21:01, October 8, 2016 (UTC)
