Infobox image update?

With Mel recently showing up in Jodie's final episode and the 60th, I thought it would be worth starting a discussion about updating her infobox image. (Not specifically about what image is best per se, but would it be possible to tag the images by what story they're from? On the file page preferably, so they appear when navigating the category for images from the story) Cookieboy 2005 ☎

I assumed that recent images would be off-limits since we've deliberately got images of Liz, Jo and Sarah from their original runs rather than later appearances. Jack ☎ 15:23, 21 June 2024 (UTC)

That sucks, if so. I don't see why one should be favoured over another. What if one of the characters, eg. Mel ends up in more 'new series' episodes than classic, for example? Or is this "gotta be from an original appearance" an arbitrary ruling? — Fractal • 16:35, 21 June 2024 (UTC)

My preference would be an image from the "original medium", especially since as of now we still have more appearances in classic. Specifically, I would favour 1b or 2b of the suggested images. BlueSupergiant ☎ 16:43, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
