HOMEVID or TV?[[edit source]]

I noticed this is labeled as HOMEVID: Rain Gods on River Song's undated events section, yet on its page it's categorized as a TV story. Should it be re-categorized as a HOMEVID because it was released as a DVD exclusive? (The same issues occur with the Night and the Doctor segments, which were released as DVD extras, but are labeled as TV stories.) Mewiet 21:39, November 9, 2013 (UTC)

Support that, yes, definitely! Been meaning to bring that up for a while myself. This story was not produced for TV, and so far as I know was never shown on TV anywhere. Same goes for Night And The Doctor, the Meanwhile In The TARDIS segments from the Series 5 DVD/Blu-ray, and all of the direct-to-video spinoffs. Side Rat 18:32, October 26, 2015 (UTC)

My original post is quite outdated now (2013, yikes!) from when I first learned of the HOMEVID prefix and spotted the inconsistency where some stories are interchangeably listed with both the HOMEVID and TV prefixes. I learned recently (quite by accident) that we have a severely underused (home video) dab that should be on these and any other direct-to-video releases in tandem with the HOMEVID prefix, but my suspicion is that it's so underused most people don't know it's exists and therefore have been incorrectly dabbing things like the DVD exclusives and tie-in videos like Zygon: When Being You Just Isn't Enough. I've steadily been working on tracking these down and adding speedy renames to them, but each one has numerous links that need changing before the pages can be moved. Possibly a coincidence, but User:Mentuhotep I messaged me this morning saying he'd just completed changing the links on of these, Clara and the TARDIS. I said I'd be willing to work with him on doing that for the others, if he's interested in pursuing the (admittedly very time consuming) project. If it's something you're interested in as well, feel free to join in. The help would be incredibly appreciated! Mewiet 18:48, October 26, 2015 (UTC)
