Taylor Renchard was a technician who was part of Nicola Savage's survey team. He was horrified when he learnt that his best friend, Ryan Carey, had been converted into a Cyberman. He was subsequently tortured by having his head crushed by a Cyberman, who used to be Savage, attempting to extort information from him. Because Renchard was unable to provide Savage with the information she wanted, she continued crushing his skull until his whole head imploded, killing him instantly.
