A tea-making machine was the subject of a joke within a joke book that the Thirteenth Doctor and Yasmin Khan were trapped in.
In the joke, the First Doctor's TARDIS had a tea-maker that could only serve English breakfast tea, because the chamomile-ean circuit was broken. (PROSE: Knock! Knock! Who's There?)
