Telian
The Telians were humanoids from the planet Telios in the Zeta Cancri star system, in the Zeta Four Sector of Mutter's Spiral.
After their attempt to avert a war with the Megallan Empire by sending an ambassador, Dea, were ignored by the Megallans, who imprisoned Dea without discussion, they destroyed the Megallans' planet even as the Megallans destroyed Telios. The few surviving Telians (including the Marshal of Telios himself) pursued the Megallan High Command to the sole surviving Megallan prison ship, one of the only crafts sturdy enough to have withstood the twin blasts. There, they fought once again, until only the Marshal and the Megallan warlord were left standing, ultimately killing one another. The captive Dea sent out a distress signal which was picked up by the Time Lords, who sent K9 Mark I to investigate. K9 freed Dea and helped her find what few survivors there were among the Telian and Megallan wounded; she converted the prison ship into a hospital to help them recover, hoping to someday rebuild both civilisations on a more peaceful basis.
