Instructions for {{ProductionMonthLead}}
{{ProductionMonthLead}} is a template that puts an automatic lead on every month page that has a dab term of (production). It's necessary to ensure that every date page fully complies with T:LEADS and T:BOLD TEXT, but also to make sure that the individual page can be transcluded elsewhere on the wiki without the lead.
Usage[[edit source]]
To see this phenomenon in action, note what happens when January (production) is transcluded here, using the following markup:
{{:January (production)}}
- 1975 - Location and Ealing filming for Genesis of the Daleks took place. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Fourth Doctor)
- 2005 - Christopher Eccleston indicated to Russell T Davies that he would be leaving the role of the Doctor.
- 2006 - Post-production company The Mill worked on Tooth and Claw. Casting for The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit took place. (DWMSE 14)
- 2011 - Audio commentary for the DVD release of Colony in Space was recorded.
- 2018 - The South Africa production block of The Ghost Monument and Rosa under director Mark Tonderai and with the Doctor Who crew as well as Out of Africa Entertainment.
Current text[[edit source]]
The current value of this template is:
- ProductionMonthLead was a month in which a number of events important to the production of Doctor Who and its spin-offs occurred.
where ProductionMonthLead will be substituted by whatever the date is of the current page. So if you put it on January (production), it'll read January.
