The Clutch Father was the leader of the Guillians. He had them fear the Sheega. He ignored Helias' warnings about the gravity. He had the Sixth Doctor, Hebe Harrison and Melanie Bush sentenced to death. He didn't like Helias' stopping the execution. He tried to hide the fact that his people transformed in the night as the Sheega, and in this form he ate the Doctor's coat.
