Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

What if... the Doctor's sonic screwdriver became even more sophisticated?

The sonic screwdriver has become so sophisticated that he has gained sentience and carries a top hat and cane, proclaiming how he has read all the literary classics. He even decides to change the format of Doctor Who, renaming it as Sonic Screwdriver and His Assistant the Doctor due to believing himself to be the real star.

However, success soon goes to his head, and he decides to take a week's holiday by the beach in the name of "me time" instead of rehearsing, much to the fury of his bosses. Eventually, he is quite literally tossed on the scrapheap for his behaviour, as Kamelion, sitting rusting nearby, exclaims, "Tell me about it!".
