The Eyes Have It was the fourth short story in the Short Trips anthology Short Trips: Snapshots. It was written by Colin Harvey. It featured the Sixth Doctor and Mel.

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

Lionel Tooley, a failed ventriloquist, now works as an exterminator. His next job is at an old woman's house. He notices she is blind as she sends him up to the attic.

There he finds the Doctor and Mel. The old woman locks all three in the attic, where there is also a giant insect. It stole the old woman's eyes, but because of her age the eyes don't work very well. He told her he would give her eyes back if she found some new ones for him.

Lionel uses his ventriloquism skills to distract the alien while the Doctor defeats it. The Doctor returns the old woman's eyes to her.
