- Tubal Cain pilots a massive Battle TARDIS armed with time torpedoes.

- This story contains a minor appearance by SAG 3 and Rassilon.
- The reprint in DWCS2 8 has a distinct error in colourization. An impression of the TARDIS found in a limestone quarry is mistakenly coloured blue as if the actual TARDIS was embedded in the rock.
