The Stolen Mirth was a skit in The Muppets Take the O2 stage play. It was a crossover between The Muppets and Doctor Who, and, more specifically, part of the Muppets franchise's Pigs in Space series-in-a-series.
The 13 July performance was titled The Stolen Mirth and featured the Tenth Doctor while the 14 July performance was titled Mirthshock and featured the Fifth Doctor.

- Captain Hogthrob turns into a Time Lord. He rapidly regenerates into Sam the Eagle as the First Doctor, Gonzo as the Second Doctor, Pepe the King Prawn as the Third Doctor, Fozzie Bear as the Fourth Doctor, Scooter as the Fifth Doctor, Lips as the Sixth Doctor, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew as the Seventh Doctor, Uncle Deadly as the Eighth Doctor, Rizzo the Rat as the Ninth Doctor, Kermit the Frog as the Tenth Doctor, Walter as the Eleventh Doctor, Floyd Pepper as the Twelfth Doctor, and Miss Piggy as the Thirteenth Doctor.

- The story was David Tennant's first live action appearance as the Tenth Doctor since The Day of the Doctor. It was also Peter Davison's first live action appearance as the Fifth Doctor since Time Crash.
- The Stolen Mirth is a reference to the Tenth Doctor episode The Stolen Earth. Likewise, Mirthshock is a reference to the Fifth Doctor episode Earthshock.
- Captain Hogthrob calls the Doctor's sonic screwdriver a lightsaber. David Tennant has voiced the Huyang in Star Wars, a droid who builds lightsabers.
