Thomas Hendron
Thomas Hendron was a young man who became mentally unstable following his experiences cremating the bodies of soldiers who died in Singapore during World War II. On 20 May 1946, Hendron stabbed Ella Stanton in the chest in Bobby Gents' Manicure Lounge in Liverpool. He was arrested by Detective Sergeants Ballam and Anderson. On 17 July 1946, Hendron was hanged at Walton Gaol.
Robert Scarratt was unnerved by the thought that Hendron was resurrected in the City of the Saved, thinking it an abomination that he should be in the same afterlife as his victim, Ella. (PROSE: The Brakespeare Voyage [+]Loading...["The Brakespeare Voyage (novel)"])
