Walt Disney

Walt Disney was the once-leader of the Disney company. He was known as the "future of cartooning". However, after his death, he was cryogenically frozen and became murderous. (PROSE: Cat's Cradle: Warhead, AUDIO: The Web of Time)

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Walt Disney was cryogenically frozen (PROSE: Cat's Cradle: Warhead) after his death; however, he later "wiped out" thirty animators, leaving his company no other choice than to leave him sedated. His frozen head was later stored in the Relic Room. (AUDIO: The Web of Time)

By the time of the London Event, (PROSE: Downtime) whose date fluctuated from 1966 to 1975 between accounts, (PROSE: Who Killed Kennedy, The Enfolded Time, et al.) River Song visited the Relic Room with Mx Neon, where they encountered his frozen head. They talked about the events surrounding his freezing. (AUDIO: The Web of Time)

Legacy[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Disney company falsely claimed that the rumours that Walt Disney was frozen after death were merely "urban myths". (AUDIO: The Web of Time) Ace later referenced Walt Disney being cryogenically frozen to the Seventh Doctor when he asked if she knew what the process was. (PROSE: Cat's Cradle: Warhead)

The Toymaker later likened himself to a "pan-dimensional Walt Disney, Charles Darrow and Hiroshi Yamauchi" to Sir Henry Rugglesthorpe. (PROSE: Divided Loyalties)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • The character of Walton Winkle, as played by Sylvester McCoy in Zagreus, was a pastiche of Walt Disney and the Disney company.
  • In the unproduced novel Minalopa by Callum Phillpott, Gruber Minalopa would've been a sort of "outer-space Walt Disney".[1]
  • Several DWU stories depict Walt Disney being cryogenically frozen following his death. These stories are based on the popular real world myth that Disney was indeed secretly cryogenically frozen. In actuality, Disney was cremated and he had likely never heard of cryonics.[2]
