From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

I think the "splitting era-subsections by medium" thing is kind of a terrible idea. Many, many Big Finish comic stories — not to mention most of the Missing Adventures and Past Doctor Adventures — are meant to slot at specific points in TV seasons, with no guesswork needed; either it's blindingly obvious from the story itself, or, failing that, they tell you on the back cover between which two TV stories a given novel is set.

If we're going to try to write any kind of linear-looking biography of a given Doctor, treating all sources as valid, then we've got to be allowed to slot the paragraph about the events in a book marketed as "what the Fourth Doctor did between Meglos and Full Circle" between our paragraph about the events of Meglos, and our paragraph about the events of Full Circle.

EDIT: Yeah, warning-templates such as User:Najawin suggests would make more sense, without trying to segregate by medium. We don't necessarily need these to be dropdown types, do we? They could just be little notices similar to {{section stub}} or {{WhichDoctor}}, couldn't they?
