V14 was a Voc on board Storm Mine 4. It worked on the control deck. After weather posting 16 on the storm scale gripped the vehicle, V14 was ordered by Commander Uvanov to signal a full crew alert. When the power levels of the sandminer exceeded the safety bounds, Lish Toos ordered V14 to stop all motive units, but a control failure prevented this action. (TV: The Robots of Death)
On Earth in the 21st century, former Doctor Who actor Louise Jameson owned a "Home Assistant V14", which malfunctioned after Jameson gave the robot a series of commands. She had to knock it over with a copy of Doctor Who Season 14 box set. (WC: Home Assistant)
