Vargos (Revelation of the Daleks)

President Vargos was the leader of a planetary alliance that included the planets Earth and Necros.
When Vargos' wife died, her funeral was to be held on Necros at Tranquil Repose. Afterwards her body would be placed in suspended animation until a cure for the illness that caused her death could be found. With Tranquil Repose taken over by Davros and the bodies turned into food or Davros' new generation of Daleks, Peri Brown radioed his Presidential spacecraft and warned him. Kara had planned to overthrow Vargos so that she could control the food supply for the whole galaxy. (TV: Revelation of the Daleks)

- In Eric Saward's original script, Vargos was the president of the Federation of the Ten Planets, but no such union was ever mentioned on-screen.
- Vargos was an unseen character.
