The Victoria and Albert Museum was a museum in South Kensington, near the Gilded Lily (PROSE: Enter Wildthyme) and across the road from the Natural History Museum. In 1899, Queen Victoria lay a foundation stone there, after which she retired from public life. (AUDIO: The Victorian Age)
