A colour Videoscan, (PROSE: Stingray Attacked!) also known as a video-scan (PROSE: Titan Declares War!, Marineville Waits!) and in full as a Video soundscan, (PROSE: Fireball Surrenders!) was used by TV Century 21 to acquire pictures and reports about the adventures of Stingray and its crew for publication in their magazine.

Across January, February and March 2065, the Videoscan documented the Stingray's crew escorting of the S.A.3., an attack they faced from a Titan Terror Fish, (PROSE: Stingray Attacked!, Fireball Surrenders!) and their entrapment by Titan's monster jellyfish in an undersea cavern. (PROSE: Titan Declares War!, Marineville Waits!) While trying to locate this cavern, all the controllers at Marineville Tracking Station Z11 had to work from were the few video-scan pictures received the day before at the Marineville Control Tower. A recent video-scan photograph of Stingray which had been released by the Marineville Press Office accompanied a front page article about these events on 6 March. (PROSE: Marineville Waits!)
