Winston Grange

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Dr Winston Grange was a botanist who attempted to cure his wife Marjorie Gower's cancer using a re-sequencing code. He continued his research after Marjorie died.

In the late 1990s, Dr Grange tried to have bees spread the re-sequencing code, but found that they cowered from the synethetic pollen containing it and instead used butterflies. The deaths of Amy Flynn and Barnaby Andrews attracted the attention of Louise Rix, who called in Winifred Bambera and Jean-Paul Savarin to investigate.

UNIT uncovered and foiled Dr Grange's plan and intended on having him imprisoned. However, he committed suicide by allowing one of his caterpillars to bite him. (AUDIO: Time Flies)
