On 18 March, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 2000 - Recording for Winter for the Adept took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2009 - In a speech to members of BAFTA, Russell T Davies revealed production of series 3 of The Sarah Jane Adventures had been impacted by BBC budget cuts and had nearly been cancelled on three occasions.
- 2010 - A BBC press screening was held for The Eleventh Hour, during which producer Piers Wenger officially announced that a 2010 Christmas special was planned, and production of series 6 was set to begin in July.
