(PROSE: The Giant's Heart) There was a water tank in the building's attic which supplied the house with fresh water. The water was used for cooking and bathing. (PROSE: The Terror of the Thames)
History
In 1886, after encountering Silurians on an island in the Pacific Ocean, the Ninth Doctor dropped off Vastra, Jenny, Rose Tyler, and some of the crew of the Mary Anning at 13 Paternoster Row. (COMIC: The Lost Dimension)
In 1888, the Doctor's TARDIS materialised in the drawing room, which Jenny informed Vastra of as she returned home after hunting down and devouring Jack the Ripper. The Eleventh Doctor had come to enlist the couple's aid at the Battle of Demons Run. (TV: A Good Man Goes to War)
