"Lesser species" or "lesser races" was the term used by the Great Houses for all other species. However, as more cultures became time-active, some of the Newblood Houses chose to describe only the non-time-active cultures as "lesser". (PROSE: The Book of the War)
When the Ogron Confederation of Planets passed through the Void into N-Space, they attacked the forces of the warring Quarks and the Kroton Imperium in an effort to uphold the Universal Concordat on Peaceful Co-existence by stopping a conflict between "lesser-evolved species". (COMIC: The Lost Dimension)
The Hausanthropic equations defined the evolution of aesthetically-pleasing lesser-species. (PROSE: The Short Briefing Sergeant's Tale)
