Operation Volcano was the main story published in Doctor Who: The Seventh Doctor, published in 2018. It was the first full-length comic story staring the Seventh Doctor since Cat and Mouse in 2013.

- In this story, the walls and arches of the TARDIS' yellow control room first seen in The Armageddon Gambit are white instead of golden-brown. Likwise, the time rotor glow blue instead of yellow.
