Cronus was a Titan in Greek mythology. He was Rhea's husband, Gaia's saviour, father-slayer, child-eater, and Lord of the Golden Age. (PROSE: Fallen Gods)
Rhea hid their son Zeus from Cronus so he would not eat him alive. She fed Cronus a stone in swaddling clothes. (PROSE: The End Times) Rhea and her children cast Cronus into Tartarus. (PROSE: Fallen Gods)
