A new race of Daleks who passed themselves off as Defence Drones and dubbed themselves the New Dalek Army were imperfectly cloned from the remains of the Reconnaissance Scout Dalek fought off by Team TARDIS in 2019 England.
Characteristics
They were all black Daleks regardless of rank and had a unique design with no plunger-like manipulator arm. The light emitted by their eyes and highlights in their casing appeared blue when they were in drone form, but when they became inhabited by the Kaled mutants the lights turned red. (TV: Revolution of the Daleks)
History
Leo Rugazzi built the first drone himself, after which his company was bought by Jack Robertson. The drones used Artificial Intelligence to predict the best choice to make from many different scenarios.
During a fake riot organised by Jack Robertson to show Jo Patterson his drones, a drone shot a high speed jet of water and fake tear gas from its two arms. It later emitted an high whine, causing Jack, Jo, and Leo to wear earphones.
Jack 3D printed thousands of drones over the course of a year, which were rolled out across the nation at borders and national landmarks. Although the drones were not intended to be able to kill, the Reconnaissance Scout, controlling Leo, made him change the plans so that the new casings could fly, kill, and house a Dalek.
After the "Drones" were brought online, Dalek mutants transported themselves into the casings using ultra violet light and began exterminating nearby humans, officially launching their revolution. They were all destroyed by a Dalek Death Squad, which the Doctor had summoned to Earth, who deemed them impure. The Death Squad Daleks and their ship were then destroyed by Team TARDIS and Jack Harkness. (TV: Revolution of the Daleks)
