The Moderator is a Fifth Doctor comic story originally published in Doctor Who Magazine.
Summary
The Doctor and his new friend Gus arrive on Celeste, a world populated by intelligent soldiers. Yet all is not what it seems. The soldiers are under the control of the sinister Moderator, who is using the gift of Celeste to create a link to Earth. Can the Doctor stop him from invading another planet?

- This comic strip was reprinted as part of The Tides of Time graphic novel published by Panini Comics in May 2005.
- This was the final Doctor Who Magazine comic story to feature the Fifth Doctor. The last words spoken by the Fifth Doctor in his comic book tenure are; "Well, it's not Akron, Ohio, but it's Earth. The same time, the same place that we first met!"
