Stroud was a town in the south-west of England.
The nearest city was Gloucester to the north. Nearby towns included Dursley. Local small towns and villages included Painswick to the north, Sapperton to the east, Minchinhampton to the south-east and Nailsworth to the south. Stroud was located close to the M5, the nearest access point was junction 13 just to the west of the town. The A46 also passed through Stroud. (TV: The Categories of Life)
