The Mechanoid-Dalek battle was an attempt by the Mechonoids, led by the Mechanoid Queen, to wipe out the Daleks, led by the Emperor of the Restoration, for good. The Mechanoids believed the Daleks had been brought to the verge of extinction by the Entity. In truth, the Dalek Prime Strategist had deliberately misled the Mechanoids and they were confronted by a large force of Silver Daleks. (WC: Day of Reckoning)
