On 3 February, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1966 - Pre-filming for The Ark concluded at Ealing Studios. (TCH 7)
- 1968 - Episode four of The Web of Fear was recorded at Lime Grove Studios D. (TCH 11)
- 1970 - Location filming for The Ambassadors of Death took place. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Third Doctor)
- 1995 - Writer Robert deLaurentis submitted the second draft of his script for the 1996 TV movie, drawing on his 17 December submission entitled Dr. Who?. He replaced the Daleks with "Zenons", Borusa was renamed Pandak, and companion Sherman was replaced with an alien named Gog. Castellan Kelner became a half-Zenon who commits suicide. Finally, Fox got fed up and even suggested a return to John Leekley's 24 August script. On 5 May, Matthew Jacobs was chosen to replace deLaurentis as writer of the film.
- 2015 - Big Finish's audio anthology The Third Doctor Adventures was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2016 - The Big Finish audio story A Life of Crime was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2020 - Big Finish's audio adaptation of the unproduced TV story The Doomsday Contract was recorded.
- 2021 - Big Finish announced the UNIT: The New Series audio series Nemesis.
